Hero Campaign
Be a HERO in the life of a VOOM patient! The HERO Campaign supports a one-time patient scholarship for an indigent patient in need. Nigeria is a country of over 211M in population and vulnerable families survive on just over $300 per year. Indigent patients often opt out of surgery or work to raise the funds from churches, family and friends to support local surgery costs. Although there is no charge for VOOM Foundation services and we bring all consumable supplies and drugs to make surgery affordable, indigent patients struggle to meet minimal fees. In the best interest of patient care, VOOM Foundation raises funds to support patient scholarships assure we are reaching those who have little option.
Patient Scholarship - $3,000
Some families try to raise the money through their churches or extended family. Others walk away from life-saving surgery... not because they’ve given up, but because they have no other option. This is why we created the HERO Campaign — a lifeline for patients in crisis.
Your support of a one-time patient scholarship can mean the difference between life and death. 100% of your gift goes directly to covering the final gap in care, allowing a patient to move forward with urgent surgery.

Heart for Nigeria Society
The Heart for Nigeria Society welcomes new members to our exclusive group of professionals willing to serve as advocates and ambassadors for the VOOM Foundation mission. Members utilize their personal and professional networks to provide connections and resources to support VOOM Foundation's medical program.
Member's meet twice a year in-person or virtually to discuss VOOM Foundation's impact in Nigeria.
Caduceus Society
The VOOM Foundation Caduceus Society is our annual giving program designed for physicians and medical professionals interested in improving global health in underserved countries. Caduceus members provide financial support for VOOM Foundation's mission with an emphasis on training and education programs that improve Nigeria's healthcare system which is struggling due to economic factors within the country.
"Caduceus" is an ancient Greek or Roman herald's wand, typically one with two serpents twined around it, carried by the messenger of god Hermes or Mercury and traditionally associated with healing.
